Meet the Co-Founders
FooDo was founded in 2022 by Akshay and Yash, friends and alumni of TU Delft, who bonded over their shared love for Indian food and the comfort it brings.
As students in the Netherlands, they found it challenging to get truly homemade Indian meals the kind that reminded them of family kitchens and familiar flavors. Out of that longing, FooDo was born: a way to bring authentic, home-style Indian cooking to everyone living far from home.
Their vision is simple yet heartfelt to ensure that no one who moves out of India ever has to miss the taste and warmth of home-cooked food.
At FooDo, every meal is prepared by home cooks who live and breathe Indian culinary traditions. Their dishes are rooted in heritage, crafted with hard work, and filled with the warmth of home.
Today, FooDo continues to grow with that same spirit celebrating tradition, creating connections, and serving every meal with care and authenticity.

Workshops
At the heart of our vision ensuring no one misses the comfort of Indian homemade cooking we host engaging cooking workshops that bring the flavors of India to everyone’s kitchen.
Our sessions range from simple, everyday dishes to advanced Indian cooking techniques, all taught in a fun, relaxed, and interactive way. We make sure participants not only enjoy the experience but also gain the confidence to recreate these delicious meals at home.
In 2023 and 2024, we proudly organized two Diwali-themed workshops in collaboration with TU Delft, where participants came together to celebrate, cook, and share the joy of Indian food.
